Resolution of Council Support - Neighborhood Revitalization Project - 1743 Park Avenue
For the purpose of formally recognizing the City Council’s support for the ongoing neighborhood revitalization project at 1743 Park Avenue (block 0355, lot 034) undertaken by the Bolton Hill Community Association and Midtown Community Benefits District.

Whereas, the City Council recognizes the significant need for reinvestment and revitalization of neighborhoods and community spaces in Baltimore City.

Whereas, the Bolton Hill Community Association and Midtown Community Benefits District have undertaken the necessary project of rehabilitating a City intersection located at the corner of Park Avenue and North Avenue, including the creation of murals to revitalize and attract visitors to the space.

Whereas, the Bolton Hill Community Association and Midtown Community Benefits District now seek to secure a State Community Legacy Program grant to continue the project at the intersection, which includes the demolition of existing hardscaping and construction of new hardscaping at 1743 Park Avenue, a lot adjacent to the intersection.

Whereas, the State Community Legacy Program grant application requires a resolution that indicates support for a proposed project from the local governing body.
