Informational Hearing - Housing Authority of Baltimore City - Broadband Requirements and Access
For the purpose of inviting representatives from the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, the Department of Housing and Community Development, Baltimore City Information Technology, the Department of Recreation and Parks, and other interested parties to brief the City Council on the Housing Authority of Baltimore City’s progress in furnishing broadband internet access to low-income City residents through the Federal Emergency Broadband Benefit program.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of Baltimore, That the City Council invites representatives from the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, the Department of Housing and Community Development, Baltimore City Information Technology, the Department of Recreation and Parks, and other interested parties to brief the City Council on the Housing Authority of Baltimore City’s progress in furnishing broadband internet access to low-income City residents through the Federal Emergency Broadband Benefit program.
And be it further resolved, That a copy of this Resolution be sent to the Chief Executive Officer of the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, the Housing Commissioner of the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Chief Information and Digital Officer of Baltimore City Information Technology, the Director of the Department of Recreation and Parks, and the Mayor’s legislative liaison to the City Council.
