Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

Subtitle 7. City Officers and Employees
§ 7-12. Range of City-owned take-home vehicles.
(a) “City-owned take-home vehicle” defined.
“City-owned take-home vehicle” means a vehicle owned by the City that a City-employee is authorized to use for commuting, as well as other purposes.
(b) In general.
A City-owned take-home vehicle may only be used within the confines of Baltimore City.
(c) Rules and regulations.
Subject to Title 4 {“Administrative Procedure Act - Regulations”} of the City General Provisions Article, the Director of an agency that provides at least 1 employee with a City-owned take-home vehicle shall adopt rules and regulations to implement this section.
Section 2. And be it further ordained, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.
