Investigational Hearing - Solar Farming
For the purpose of inviting representatives from WeSolar, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Department of Recreation and Parks, the Department of Planning’s Office of Sustainability, the Department of General Services, the Comptroller, the City Administrator, the State Public Service Commission, and the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company to brief the City Council on commercial and residential solar farming and to assess how solar farming can benefit the citizens of Baltimore City.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of Baltimore, That the Council requests that representatives from WeSolar, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Department of Recreation and Parks, the Department of Planning’s Office of Sustainability, the Department of General Services, the Comptroller, the City Administrator, the State Public Service Commission, and the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company to brief the City Council on commercial and residential solar farming and to assess how solar farming can benefit the citizens of Baltimore City.
And be it further resolved, That a copy of this Resolution be sent to the City Solicitor, WeSolar, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Department of Recreation and Parks, the Department of Planning’s Office of Sustainability, the Department of General Services, the Comptroller, the City Administrator, the State Public Service Commission, the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, and the Mayor’s Legislative Liaison to the City Council.
