For the purpose of authorizing the release and surrender by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore of all of its interests in and to a 20 foot wide right-of-way and a 10 foot wide right-of-way through the property of Weldon Heights Homes, Inc., as shown on plats RW20-34176 and RW20-34429 on file in the Office of the Department of Transportation; and providing for a special effective date.

Recitals
The right-of-ways hereinafter described are no longer needed for public use, the public utility that had previously been therein having been abandoned or relocated to another right-of-way that was granted to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.
Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the Comptroller of Baltimore City be and is hereby authorized on behalf of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to execute and deliver unto the owner or owners of the land within the right-of-way hereinafter described, a release and surrender of all the interest of the City of Baltimore in the right-of-way described as follows:
20 Foot Alley Right-of-Way:
Beginning for the same at a point along the northeast right-of-way line of Clydesdale Avenue 50 feet wide, Southeasterly 39.34 feet from the southeast edge of a 16 Foot Alley; thence binding on said northeast right-of-way line of said Clydesdale Avenue, as now surveyed with all bearings being referred to the Baltimore City Survey System the four following courses and distances:
1) By a curve to the left with a radius of 646.09 feet, for an arc distance of 23.01 feet said curve being subtended by a chord bearing North 20° 37' 44" West 23.01 feet to a point; thence leaving said Clydesdale Avenue
2) South 81° 00' 00" East 84.27 feet to a point; thence
3) South 09° 00' 00" West 20.00 feet to a point; thence
4) North 81° 00' 00" West 72.90 feet to the place of beginning.
Containing 1,570 Square Feet or 0.0360 Acres of land more or less.
Being the same 20' right-of-way described in Conveyance to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore dated February 19, 1952, and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore City, Maryland in Liber MLP 8721 Folio 404, and shown on Plat RW20-34176, as parcel 3.
10 Foot Alley Right-of-Way:
Beginning for the same at a point along the northwest right-of-way line of Redfern Avenue 50' wide, southwesterly 24.06' from the southwest edge of a 16' Alley, said point also being 8.77' southwest of the point of tangency, thence binding on said northwest right-of-way line of Redfern Avenue, as now surveyed with all bearings being referred to the Baltimore City grid meridian:
1) South 67° 45' 43" West 11.78 feet to a point; thence leaving said Redfern Avenue
2) North 54° 07' 53" West 123.74 feet to a point; on the southeast edge of a 16' Alley, thence binding thereon
3) North 68° 46' 20" East 11.91 feet to a point
4) South 54° 07' 53" East 132.49 feet to the Point of Beginning
Containing 1,326 Square Feet or 0.0304 Acres of land more or less
Being the same 10' right-of-way described in Conveyance to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore dated May 27, 1954, and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore City, Maryland in Liber MLP 9489 Folio 371, and shown on Plat RW-20-34429, as parcel 2.
Being part of that same property described in Conveyance to Redfern Holdings, LLC, dated February 14, 2017, and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore City, Maryland in Liber 18898 Folio 305.
The right-of-ways described above being located on the properties now known as 1456, 1458, 1460, 1462, 1464, 1466, and 1476 Redfern Avenue, also known as Ward 13, Section 15, Block 3576A, Lots 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 99 and North East Corner of Redfern Avenue and Clydesdale Avenue, also known as Ward 13, Section 15, Block 3576A, Lot 100.
All courses and distances in the above description are referred to the true meridian as adopted by the Baltimore Survey Control System
The use of the right-of-ways described above is no longer needed for public purposes.
Section 2. And be it further ordained, That no deed may pass under this Ordinance unless the deed has been approved by the City Solicitor.
Section 3. And be it further ordained, That this Ordinance takes effect on the date it is enacted.
