Recitals
Rochelle “Rikki” Spector, a longtime member of the Baltimore City Council, represented district residents from 1977 until 2016. Councilwoman Spector assisted the MWIA in working with PCDA to receive funds to build the children’s playground. The board of MWIA requested naming the unnamed playground for her, in an area of Baltimore that she once represented.
Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the playground in Northwest Park, located at 2027 West Rogers Avenue and approximately 100 feet from the street, is named the Rikki Spector Playground.
Section 2. And be it further ordained, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.
