Recitals

Phyllis Gilmore is a dedicated community leader in North Baltimore who serves as president of the Woodbourne-McCabe Neighborhood Association and vice president of the York Road Partnership. Her efforts on behalf of Woodbourne-McCabe, in partnership with the City and private stakeholders, have been invaluable in improving and revitalizing the neighborhood. One of her many accomplishments included securing a new playground and improvements to Alhambra Park at the heart of the Woodbourne-McCabe community for children and neighbors alike to enjoy. For all of her tireless efforts, this bill renames the playground and pavilion on the West side of Alhambra Park for Phyllis Gilmore.

Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the name of the playground and pavilion at Alhambra Park, located at 5200 Alhambra Ave, is changed to the Phyllis Gilmore Playground and Pavilion.
