For the purpose of naming the southwestern “plateau” of Wyman Park Dell’s main park area, bounded roughly by the wooded steep slope to the east, the 29th Street spur road and park entrance to the south, the southernmost entrance stairs off of Art Museum Drive to the north, and Howard Street/Art Museum Drive to the west, to be the Harriet Tubman Grove at Wyman Park Dell.

Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the southwestern “plateau” of Wyman Park Dell’s main park area, bounded roughly by the wooded steep slope to the east, the 29th Street spur road and park entrance to the south, the southernmost entrance stairs off of Art Museum Drive to the north, and Howard Street/Art Museum Drive to the west, is named the Harriet Tubman Grove at Wyman Park Dell, and is more particularly described below.
The area is roughly bounded by the wooded steep slope to the east; the 29th Street spur road (and any future iteration of this spur road should it be converted to parking as described in the Wyman Park Dell Master Plan) and park entrance (South Steps) to the south; the southernmost entrance stairs off of Art Museum Drive to the north; and Howard Street/Art Museum Drive to the west (from the 29th Street spur road intersection with Howard Street, northward for approximately ¼ of the length of Art Museum Drive, measured from the intersection of Wyman Park Drive and Art Museum Drive).
Section 2. And be it further ordained, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.
