For the purpose of transferring a General Fund Operating Appropriation in the aggregate amount of $4,260,000 from various agency services to the Department of Recreation and Parks for Service 648 - Community Recreation Centers, in the aggregate amount of $2,600,000, and for Service 646 - Park Maintenance, in the aggregate amount of $560,000; to the Department of Transportation for Service 683-Street Management, in the aggregate amount of $900,000; and to the Department of Planning for Service 763 - Planning and Resource Management, in the aggregate amount of $200,000; and providing for a special effective date.

Recitals

Article VI, ยง 9(a)(2) of the City Charter provides that, on recommendation of the Board of Estimates, the City Council by ordinance may authorize the transfer of an appropriation contained in the Ordinance of Estimates from one municipal agency to another municipal agency.
