Recitals
Tupac Amaru Shakur, a proud son of Baltimore, who became one of one of the best-selling and most influential artists of all time. Tupac is an alumnus of both Roland Park Middle School and the Baltimore School of the Arts, and his family remember their times in Baltimore with much fondness and appreciation. As such, the Mayor and City Council find that naming the playground for Tupac, which sits behind the home he and his family once lived, to be a fitting honor.
Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the name of Mullan Park, located at 4000 Old York Road, Baltimore, MD 21218, is changed to Tupac Amaru Shakur Park.
Section 2. And be it further ordained, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.
