Recitals

Nikki Thompson began working as the Director of Legislative Affairs for Council President Nick Mosby in December of 2020. In her time with the Council President’s Office, Director Thompson has been a conscientious steward of President Mosby’s legislative agenda, creating many policy wins for the citizens of Baltimore.

A proud graduate of the Howard University School of Law, Director Thompson has dedicated her career to achieving economic justice for low-wealth communities and has focused her legal expertise on using the rule of law to provide justice to the under served and to dismantle oppressive systems through policy.

During her time with the Council President’s Office, Director Thompson has been a steadfast presence in the often-hectic workings of a busy municipal government. She has been a vocal advocate for Baltimore City residents and worked hard to improve the lives of those she serves.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of Baltimore, That the Council recognizes Nikki Thompson for her distinguished service to the City of Baltimore.
