Agency Briefing - Fire Department  
For the purpose of calling on pertinent agency representatives of the Fire  
Department to brief the City Council on how the Department's FY 23 actual  
expenditures compared to prior years and to provide a report on the  
current FY 24 budget and projections. At a minimum, the presentation is to  
include a status report on: Overtime Expenses: current fiscal year  
compared to last fiscal year; the number of Vacancies and level of position  
for the current fiscal year compared to the last fiscal year;  
Equipment/Departmental Needs: Such as equipment, training, ext. current  
fiscal year compared to last fiscal year, status of Fleet and Capital Projects  
underway, updates on the plan for vacant property citation collections, and  
updates on any other projected challenges of the Department.
