FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to sell, at either public or private sale, all its interest in certain properties located at 411 and 413 North Washington Street (Ward 06, Section 05, Block 1667, Lots 05 and 06) and no longer needed for public use; and providing for a special effective date.

SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That, in accordance with Article V, ยง 5(b) of the City Charter, the City Comptroller may sell, at either public or private sale, all the interest of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore in the properties located at 411 and 413 North Washington Street (Ward 06. Section 05, Block 1667, Lots 05 and 06), and more particularly described as follows:
The subject parcels consist of 2 improved lots. The City-owned properties were awarded on June 9, 2010, to My Son Development, LLC (the "Developer"), under the City's Rolling Bid Process. This Ordinance will grant the City the authority to sell the properties to the Developer, as awarded by the Rolling Bid Process. Improvements on the properties will be razed, and the properties will be used for the redevelopment of 403-427 North Washington Street into a 45,000 square foot office building redevelopment.
These properties being no longer needed for public use.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That no deed may pass under this Ordinance unless the deed has been approved by the City Solicitor.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the date it is enacted.
