  SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:
 
      Baltimore City Code
 
      Article 25.  Sewers
 
      Subtitle 13.  Sewer Service Charges
 
ยง 134.  Exceptions.
 
(a)  Discharges not into sanitary facilities.
 
 
Whenever any property upon which the charge imposed hereunder uses water from the City's water supply system or any other source or sources [for an industrial or commercial purpose] in such a manner that the water so used is not discharged into the sanitary facilities of the City, the quantity of water so used and not discharged into the City's sanitary facilities shall be excluded in determining the charge imposed hereunder as to said property if the quantity of water so used and not discharged into the City's sanitary facilities is measured by a device or devices approved by the Director of Public Works and installed without cost to the City.
 
  SECTION 2.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That the catchlines contained in this Ordinance are not law and may not be considered to have been enacted as a part of this or any prior Ordinance.
 
  SECTION 3.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.
