Zoning - Hotels and Motels
FOR the purpose of excepting hotels and motels of a certain capacity from the minimum lot area requirements imposed for the B-2 through B-4 Zoning Districts; correcting an error in punctuation; and generally relating to the application of bulk regulations to hotels and motels.

SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

Article - Zoning
§ 6-311. Lot area.
(a) In general.
(1) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO HOTELS OR MOTELS THAT CONTAIN 20 OR MORE RENTAL UNITS.
(2) For each dwelling, efficiency, or rooming unit located in a B-2 District, OTHER THAN AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION, the minimum lot area is as specified in this section.
§ 6-411. Lot area.
(a) In general.
(1) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO HOTELS OR MOTELS THAT CONTAIN 20 OR MORE RENTAL UNITS.
(2) For each dwelling, efficiency, or rooming unit located in a B-3 District, OTHER THAN AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION, the minimum lot area is as specified in this section[:].
§ 6-511. Lot area.
(a) In general.
(1) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO HOTELS OR MOTELS THAT CONTAIN 20 OR MORE RENTAL UNITS.
(2) For each dwelling, efficiency, or rooming unit located in a B-4 District, OTHER THAN AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION, the minimum lot area is as specified in this section.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That the catchlines contained in this Ordinance are not law and may not be considered to have been enacted as a part of this or any prior Ordinance.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.
