FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to sell, at either public or private sale, all its interest in certain parcels of land known as a portion of 1900 Argonne Drive, Lot 2A, Block 5387 and a portion of Lot 2, Block 5387 and no longer needed for public use; and providing for a special effective date.

  SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That, in accordance with Article V, ยง 5(b) of the City Charter, the City Comptroller may sell, at either public or private sale, all the interest of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore in certain parcels of land known as a portion of 1900 Argonne Drive, Lot 2A, Block 5387 and a portion of Lot 2, Block 5387, and more particularly described as follows:
 
Beginning for Parcel No. 1, at the northeast corner of Lot 2A, of City Block Plat  5387, said point being distant 390.00 feet from the north side of Argonne Drive, as now laid out 80 feet wide, said point being referenced to the Baltimore City Coordinate System, with a coordinate value of North 16057.020 East 9453.505 and running thence along the easternmost side of said Lot 2A, South 04? 00' 00" West 162.94 feet; thence for a new line of division, North  20? 28' 24" West  179.03 feet., to the northernmost side of Lot 2A; thence along the northernmost side of said Lot 2A, South 86? 00' 00" East 74.18 feet, to the place of beginning,
 
containing 6,043.802 square feet of land or 0.139 acre, more or less.
 
Beginning for Parcel No. 2 at the point on the north side of Argonne Drive, as now laid out 80 feet wide, said point beginning also being the southeast corner of Lot 2A, of City Block Plat 5387, said point being referenced to the Baltimore City Coordinate System, with a coordinate value of North 15667.970 East 9426.300 and thence running on the easternmost side of said Lot 2A; North 04? 00' 00" East 390.00 feet, to the northeast corner of said Lot 2A; thence for new lines of
 
 
division, the following three courses, namely; South 20? 24' 36" East 179.82 feet; South 12? 34' 39" East 57.60 feet; South 02? 14' 26" West 171.13 feet to the north side of said Argonne Drive; thence binding on the north side of said Argonne Drive, North 86? 00' 00" West 96.00 feet to the place of beginning,
 
containing 26,611.661 square feet of land or 0.661 acre, more or less.
 
Subject to a full width Perpetual Easement for all Municipal Utilities and Services, not to be abandoned, over the entire hereinabove described parcels of land.
 
These properties being no longer needed for public use.
 
  SECTION 2.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That no deed may pass under this Ordinance unless the deed has been approved by the City Solicitor.
 
  SECTION 3.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the date it is enacted.
