Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

Part II. International Building Code
§ 2-103. City modifications.
The additional, deletions, amendments, and other modifications adopted by the City are as follows:
Section 109.5.3 Permit extensions. For a permit extension issued under this Code, the charge is as follows:
1. If the application for extension is made within [90] 30 days after the permit expires, the fee for the extension is $25.
2. If the application for extension is made between 31-90 days after the permit expires, the fee for the extension is 50% of the original permit fee. Alternatively, the applicant may apply for a new permit for the work remaining to be completed, with the fee for that permit to be based on the scope of that remaining work.
Section 2. And be it further ordained, That this Ordinance takes effect on the date it is enacted.
