A Commercial Non-Discrimination Policy
For the purpose of establishing a clear policy against discrimination in business on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or disability and a clear policy for the City not to engage in business with firms that discriminate in their solicitation, selection, or treatment of vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, or business customers; establishing a formal complaint process and investigation process for alleged violations of this policy; and providing due process for hearing evidence, rendering findings, and imposing sanctions for violations of the commercial non-discrimination policy.
