WHEREAS, Fees charged by the City should reflect the cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged.

WHEREAS, Using standardized. cost accounting methods, the City has performed a cost analysis of the fees charged by the Health Department.

SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the fees charged by the Health Department are changed to reflect the actual cost of the service rendered, as follows:

High Risk Food Dealer Permit $450 $520
Moderate Risk Food Dealer Permit $350 $285
Low Risk Food Dealer Permit $185 $ 65

Reinspection Fee $100 $150

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the date it is enacted.
