Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

Article 28. Taxes
Subtitle 26. 911 Telephone Fee
§ 26-1. Fee imposed.
In accordance with State Public Safety Article § 1-311, an additional charge of [75¢] $1 per month is levied and imposed on all current bills rendered for switched local exchange access service, wireless telephone service, or other 911-accessible service within Baltimore City.
Section 2. And be it further ordained, That the catchlines contained in this Ordinance are not law and may not be considered to have been enacted as a part of this or any prior Ordinance.
Section 3. And be it further ordained, That this Ordinance takes effect on July 1, 2021.
