SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

Subtitle 51. Department Jurisdiction

ยง 51-4. PARK USE FOR AMATEUR SPORTS PRACTICE.

(A) DEPARTMENT TO ESTABLISH PROGRAM.

THE DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AND PARKS SHALL ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A CITYWIDE PROGRAM BY WHICH NON-PROFIT AMATEUR SPORTS TEAMS MAY USE CITY PARKS FOR PRACTICE DURING DAYTIME AND EVENING HOURS.

(B) RULES AND REGULATIONS.

(1) THE DEPARTMENT SHALL ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS TO GOVERN THIS PROGRAM.



(2) THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS SHALL INCLUDE:

(I) CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY OF SPORTS TEAMS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM;

(II) MEASURES NECESSARY OR APPROPRIATE TO PROTECT THE HEAL...
