FOR the purpose of naming the Engine Company 27, Truck 26 Fire Station, located at 4315 Mannasota Avenue, to be the Allan M. Roberts Fire Station.

Recitals
Allan M. Roberts was a 19-year veteran of the Baltimore City Fire Department. He entered the Fire Academy on April 20, 1987, and after graduation on July 2, he was assigned to Engine 37. He later transferred to Truck 26 and eventually became the First Acting Lieutenant on D Shift.
During his career with the Fire Department, he received awards and recognition for his service. He received an Exemplary Performance Award for the rescue of an infant from an apartment fire, on February 28, 1994. For this he received a Mayor's Citation, City Council Ceremonial Resolution #5510, and the African American Exposition Recognition Award. He received another Exemplary Performance Award on July 19, 2002, for his service during the Howard Street Tunnel Fire of July 18-23, 2001. He also received a Certificate of Appreciation on March 21, 1999.
