Title: Public Ethics Law - City Board of Liquor License Commissioners - Conformance to New State Law For the purpose of amending the Baltimore City Public Ethics Law to comply with Chapter 519, 2017 Acts of the General Assembly, which subjects the members and employees of virtually all local liquor control boards and local boards of liquor license commissioners, including the Baltimore City Board of Liquor License Commissioners, to the restrictions and requirements of the Maryland Public Ethics Law and, consequently, under the exclusive jurisdiction of the State Ethics Commission; and providing for a special effective date coinciding with the effective date of Chapter 519.
