FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to sell, at either public or private sale, all its interest in certain property known as 501 Orkney Road (Block 5136A, Lot 11) and no longer needed for public use; and providing for a special effective date.

SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That, in accordance with Article V, ยง 5(b) of the City Charter, the City Comptroller may sell, at either public or private sale, all the interest of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore in the property known as 501 Orkney Road (Block 5136A, Lot 011), and more particularly described as follows:
The subject parcel, more particularly described as Block 5136A, Lot 11, is an improved lot, with a residential structure on it that contains approximately 2,280 square feet of enclosed area. The property is located on the south side of Orkney Road at a distance of 160 feet easterly from the corner formed by the intersection of the south side of Orkney Avenue (aka Orkney Road) with the east side of York Road and contains approximately 9,997 square feet of land area.
This property being no longer needed for public use.
