AN ORDINANCE concerning

FOR the purpose of accelerating the automatic termination of Ordinance 10-343 {"Beverage Container Tax"}; and generally relating to the taxation of non-reusable beverage containers.

BY repealing and reordaining, with amendments                          
   Ordinance 10-343
  Section 3
 
  SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:
 
      Ordinance 10-342
 
  SECTION 3.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.  This Ordinance will remain in effect [for 3 years] THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012; [at the end of] AFTER that [period] DATE, with no further action by the Mayor and City Council, this Ordinance will be abrogated and of no further effect.
 
  SECTION 2.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.
