AN ORDINANCE concerning
Title
Sale of Property - 712 Cathedral Street
 
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to sell, at either public or private sale, all its interest in certain property located at 712 Cathedral Street (Block 0523, Lot 003) and no longer needed for public use; and providing for a special effective date.

  SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That, in accordance with Article V, § 5(b) of the City Charter, the City Comptroller may sell, at either public or private sale, all the interest of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore in the property located at 712 Cathedral Street (Block 0523, Lot 003), and more particularly described as follows:
 
The O-R-3 zoned site comprises .829 ± acres, is located in the Mount Vernon Community, and has buildings on it that are occupied by the Baltimore School for the Arts.
 
  This property being no longer needed for public use.
 
  SECTION 2.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That no deed may pass under this Ordinance unless the deed has been approved by the City Solicitor.
 
  SECTION 3.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the date it is enacted.
