A COUNCIL RESOLUTION concerning
Title
Jobs, Housing, and Recovery Workforce Reentry Project

FOR the purpose of expressing approval of the application of the Jobs, Housing, and Recovery Workforce Reentry Program to the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development for approval of a project to improve the workforce reentry success of the 68 men in its program by designing and implementing a new job skills assessment, work readiness, job placement, and employment support system, which will be integrated with Jobs, Housing and Recovery's ongoing work, therapy, counseling, education and training components.
Body
WHEREAS, Jobs, Housing, and Recovery Inc., proposes to undertake the project described above; and

WHEREAS, Jobs, Housing, and Recovery Inc., founded in 2001, works to improve the health, welfare, and economic development of Baltimore City by attacking the devastating problem of substance abuse; and

WHEREAS, The Baltimore City Council approves the project proposed by Jobs, Housing and Recovery Inc.; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That this Body hereby expresses approval of the application of the Jobs, Housing, and Recovery Workforce Reentry Program to the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development for approval of a project to improve the wor...
