AN ORDINANCE concerning

Title

Civil Citations - Repeal of "Sunset"

 

FOR the purpose of abrogating the automatic termination of Ordinance 03-595 {"Civil Citations"}; providing for a special effective date; and generally relating to the issuance and enforcement of civil citations.

BY repealing and reordaining, with amendments

SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

 

                     Ordinance 03-595

 

SECTION 4.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.  [This Ordinance will remain in effect for 2 years; at the end of that period, with no further action by the Mayor and City Council, it will be abrogated and of no further effect.]

 

SECTION 2.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the date it is enacted.
