For the purpose of permitting, subject to certain conditions, the construction and maintenance of a portion of a building, projecting into the public right-of-way on the east side of the property known as 229 East Montgomery Street; and providing for a special effective date.

Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That:
(a) Permission is granted for the construction and maintenance of a portion of a building on the east side of the property known as 229 East Montgomery street, which will extend into the public right-of-way of Battery Avenue, subject to the conditions specified in this Ordinance. The area of encroachment is more clearly shown on a plat on file in the Department of Transportation, dated February 8, 2022, prepared by NW2 Engineering.
(b) The structure may not project into the public right-of-way more than 3 feet.
(c) Except as specifically provided in this Ordinance, all ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore including, but not limited to, the requirement to obtain a right-of-entry permit, must be complied with in the c...
