FOR the purpose of offering congratulations and thanks to the Baltimore Jewish Council, the Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation for their continued additions to the diversity and education of Baltimore City, for representing the Greater Baltimore Jewish population in matters pertaining to the social, political and humanitarian fabric of the community, and for providing appropriate forums of response by developing policies for actions through careful advocacy and education.

The Baltimore Jewish Council was established in 1939, as the community relations arm of the Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. The Baltimore Jewish Council works closely with local, state, and federal authorities, as well as other ethnic and faith groups, to build strong partnerships that support the interests of the Jewish community.

The mission of the Baltimore Jewish Council is to advocate at all levels of government the protection and promotion of the Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, its agencies, and the Greater Baltimore Jewish Community.
