FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to sell, at either public or private sale, all its interest in a certain parcel of land known as the former bed of McElderry Street and no longer needed for public use; and providing for a special effective date.

SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That, in accordance with Article V, ยง 5(b) of the City Charter, the City Comptroller may sell, at either public or private sale, all the interest of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore in a certain parcel of land known as the former bed of McElderry Street, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning for the same at the point formed by the intersection of the north side of the former bed of McElderry Street, 50 feet wide, and the west side of Dean Street, 50 feet wide, and running thence binding on the west side of said Dean Street, Southerly 50.00 feet to intersect the south side of the former bed of said McElderry Street; thence binding on the south side of the former bed of said McElderry Street, Westerly 592.5 feet, more or less, to intersect the east side of a 15 foot alley, laid out in the rear of the properties known as Nos. 401 through 645 N.
