Recitals
Cottage Avenue Park has become a safe haven for the Park Heights community. Cottage Avenue Park developed the nickname Candy Stripe from the neighborhood children identifying it by its metal dividers painted red and white. The name Candy Stripe has been an ongoing name for over 40 years. Cottage Avenue Park is a place where all community people feel welcomed. Cottage Avenue Park has become a place where all accomplishments are celebrated, and it remains a place where the surrounding communities have appreciated what this green space brings to their lives. Cottage Avenue Park is the place where everyone is known as family.
Section 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the name of Cottage Avenue Park, located at located at North East Side 30 Foot Alley 2nd South West of Cottage Avenue Rear 3700-36 Cottage Avenue (Block 3335, Lot 067), is changed to Candy Stripe Park.
