(EBDI) to address the City Council on the status of efforts to revitalize an 80- acre portion of East Baltimore; to provide information on the level of WBE/MBE goal participation of the major contractors, sub- contractors, developers, and other business entities that are part of the revitalization effort; to report on efforts to address the housing and other social needs of the residents displaced by the re-development process; and to assess efforts of all participants and stakeholders to reach the EBDI goal "to work to recapture the essence of East Baltimore, and restore the community's vibrancy and productivity."

FOR the purpose of requesting the Board of Directors of East Baltimore Development, Inc. East Baltimore Development, Inc. (EBDI) is a non-profit organization charged with leading and managing the $800 million revitalization of an 80- acre portion of East Baltimore and works with support from many partners including Baltimore City, the State of Maryland, and a number of local civic groups and charitable foundations.
