Ordinance of Estimates for Fiscal Year 2007 - Program 187 (Department of Planning) - Release of Withheld Funds
FOR the purpose of approving a report by the Department of Planning on its efforts to allocate capital expenditures among the various Council Districts; and authorizing the release of appropriations withheld pending that report.

Recitals
The Ordinance of Estimates for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2007 {Ord. 06-293} conditioned the appropriations for Program 187 (Department of Planning) as follows:
Of the amount appropriated for Program 187, $500,000 shall be withheld for at least 3 months and may be expended after that period only if (i) the Department has reported to the City Council on its efforts to allocate and spend capital improvement appropriations among the various Council Districts, and (ii) the City Council has approved the report by Council Resolution.
The Department of Planning has since reported to the City Council on the Department's efforts to allocate capital expenditures among the various Council Districts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the City Council accepts and approves the report of the Department of Planning on its efforts to allocate capital expenditures among the various Council Districts.
