SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

(g) Repurchase of previous Employees' Retirement System service.

(4) (I) IN THIS PARAGRAPH, "UNIFORMED POSITION", "FORMER SYSTEM", "FIREMAN'S POSITION", AND "POLICEMAN'S POSITION" HAVE THE MEANINGS STATED IN SUBSECTION (K)(1) OF THIS SECTION.

(II) NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN THIS SUBTITLE, ANY EMPLOYEE WHO IS IN A UNIFORMED POSITION OF THE FIRE AND POLICE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM MAY TRANSFER SERVICE PREVIOUSLY ACQUIRED IN A FORMER SYSTEM IN A FIREMAN'S POSITION OR POLICEMAN'S POSITION UNDER THE T...
