SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

Subtitle 59. Weapons
ยง 59-3. Air rifles, BB guns, etc.
(a) Prohibited conduct - POSSESSION.
NO PERSON MAY POSSESS, DISCHARGE, OR USE ANY AIR RIFLE, AIR GUN, OR BB GUN IN BALTIMORE CITY.
(B) PROHIBITED CONDUCT - MINORS.
No person may sell, give away, lend, rent, or otherwise transfer to any minor or permit any minor to possess any air rifle, air gun, or BB gun IN BALTIMORE CITY.
(C) [(b)] Penalties.
Any person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to THE FOLLOWING PENALTIES:
(1) FOR A VIOLATION OF SUBSECTION (A) {"POSSESSION"} OF THIS SECTION, a fine of not more than $500 or to imprisonment for not more than [60] 90 days or to both fine and imprisonment ...
