Recitals

By Ordinance 74-536, as last amended by Ordinance 91-838, the Mayor and City Council approved the application of Union Memorial Hospital to have certain property designated as a Residential Planned Unit Development and approved the Development Plan submitted by the applicant.

At the Planning Commission Meeting of March 22, 2007, Minor Amendments to the Union Memorial Planned Unit Development were approved by the Planning Commission that included 3 conditions:

1. The Union Memorial helipad is for hospital/medical services only. No executive transport or other unrelated hospital/medical services are permitted.

2. The flight path for the helipad will be 33rd Street.

3. Use of the helipad in connection with a designated shock trauma center is not included as part of this minor amendment. In order to expand the use of the helipad site for a shock trauma center, the Union Memorial Hospital PUD will have to be amended to authorize the creation of a shock trauma center as ...
