A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL concerning
Title
Charter Amendment - Supplementary Appropriations

FOR the purpose of conforming procedures for approving supplementary appropriations; correcting, clarifying, and conforming certain language; and submitting this amendment to the qualified voters of the City for adoption or rejection.

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the City Charter is proposed to be amended to read as follows:

Article VI. Board of Estimates

ยง 8. Deficiencies; supplementary appropriations.

(b) (1) Except as provided [herein] IN THIS SECTION, the Ordinance of Estimates shall include all OF the [moneys] MONEY to be appropriated by the City for all purposes for the fiscal year for which the [ordinance is applicable] ORDINANCE OF ESTIMATES APPLIES.

(2) Additional appropriations [shall be] ARE permitted during the fiscal year only AS RECOMMENDED BY THE BOARD OF ESTIMATES AND AUTHORIZED BY A SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE in the following circumstances and under the following conditions:
