A COUNCIL RESOLUTION concerning
Title
Young Audiences of Maryland

FOR the purpose of expressing approval of the application of Young Audiences of Maryland to the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development for approval of a project to increase Baltimore City area schools' access to arts education programs offered by Young Audiences of Maryland and an allocation of tax credits for business entities that contribute to the Project under the Department's Community Investment Tax Credit Program.

WHEREAS, Young Audiences of Maryland, a nonprofit organization, proposes to undertake the project described above (the "Project"); and

WHEREAS, Young Audiences of Maryland has applied to the Department of Housing and Community Development of the State of Maryland for approval of the Project and an allocation of tax credits for business entities that contribute to the Project, under the Department's Community Investment Tax Credit Program; and

WHEREAS, The Baltimore City Council approves the project to increase the access of Baltimore City schools, a priority funding area, to arts education programs.
