Recitals
Effective November 19, 2011, the Executive Director of the Parking Authority issued an administrative regulation that created, for a 6-month period, Residential Permit Parking Area 43 and adopted a Parking Management Plan for that Area.
On April 3, 2012, the Parking Authority gave written notice to the Council President of the Authority's proposed administrative extension of Area 43, indefinitely.
On May 17, 2012, written objection to the administrative extension was submitted by a councilmember who represents all or part of the affected area.
Under City Code Article 31, ยง 10-18, any extension of the administrative regulation for Area 43 now turns on the passage or failure of an Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council.
