SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

Subtitle 27. Local Hiring

§ 271. DEFINITIONS.

(A) IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE, THE FOLLOWING TERMS HAVE THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

(B) BENEFICIARY.

“BENEFICIARY” MEANS ANY PERSON WHO:

(1) HAS A CONTRACT WITH THE CITY FOR MORE THAN $300,000; OR



(2) WILL BENEFIT FROM MORE THAN $5,000,000 IN ASSISTANCE FOR A CITY-SUBSIDIZED PROJECT.

(C) CITY-SUBSIDIZED PROJECT.

“CITY-SUBSIDIZED PROJECT” MEANS ANY PROJECT FOR WHICH THE CITY OR ANY OF ITS AGENTS OR CONTRACTORS PROVIDES FUNDS, RESOU...
