Whereas, the Baltimore Red Line is a 14.1 miles light rail transit project with major elements, including 4 miles of tunnel, dedicated and fixed guideway, and 19 stations, 5 of which will be underground; and

Whereas, the Baltimore Red Line will provide critical east-west connectivity lacking in Baltimore’s current rail transit system; and
