Recitals

Whereas, the State of Maryland through its Department of Housing and Community Development has solicited applications from eligible jurisdictions to apply for funding under the Maryland Community Development Block Grant Program for funds awarded through the federal CARES Act;

Whereas, the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore is eligible to apply for funds from the Maryland Community Development Block Grant program through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development;

Whereas, the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore will hold the required public hearing related to the formulation of the City of Baltimore’s Block Grant Application prior to submission of the Application;
