FOR the purpose of requiring certain additional information to accompany an application for a zoning variance; and generally relating to the procedures for obtaining a variance.

SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

 

                     Baltimore City Revised Code

 

                     Article - Zoning

 

                     Title 15.  Variances

 

                     Subtitle 3.  Procedures

 

§ 15-301.  Applications - for Board approval.

 

(c)  Contents.

 

The application must BE ACCOMPANIED BY:

 

(1)                     [be accompanied by the] SIGNED AND SEALED plans [and information that the Board requires by general rule] THAT SHOW ELEVATIONS AND SETBACKS OF EXISTING STRUCTURES ON THE SAME SQUARE BLOCK AND ANY CHANGES IN ELEVATIONS AND SETBACKS OF THE PROPOSED NEW STRUCTURE; [and]

 

(2)                     AN AERIAL PHOTOGRAPH OF THE PROPERTY FOR WHICH THE VARIANCE IS SOUGHT AND OF NEIGHBORING PROPERTIES;

 

 

 

(3)                     PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE FRONT, REAR, AND, WHEN APPLICABLE, SIDES OF THE PROPERTY FOR WHICH THE VARIANCE IS SOUGHT;

 

(4)                     [(2) include] a written statement by the applicant, with adequate supporting evidence, showing how the proposed variance will conform to the standards set forth in Subtitle 2 of this title; AND

 

(5)                     ANY OTHER INFORMATION THAT THE BOARD REQUIRES BY GENERAL RULE.

 

SECTION 2.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That the catchlines contained in this Ordinance are not law and may not be considered to have been enacted as a part of this or any prior Ordinance.

 

SECTION 3.  AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect on the 30th day after the date it is enacted.
