Section 1.  Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, That the Comptroller of Baltimore City is hereby authorized to grant 3 perpetual easements for Supporting Slopes through the property of the Mayor and City Council, and described as follows:

 

Beginning for the first on the western right-of-way line of the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) at a point distant 60.00 feet from the beginning of the North 31°37’ 23” West 82.47 feet line of the MTA right-of-way as referenced on MTA drawing number RC-011-01 (Contract No. CL05) entitled “Right-of-Way Plan Sta. N/E 222+50 to Sta. N/E 238+00” and the point also being 47.67 feet left of MTA N/W baseline station 233+33.34 as referenced on MTA drawing number CG-047-02 (Contract No. CL05) entitled “Track Alignment Data”; running thence along the right-of-way the following ten courses and distances, viz

 

1.                     South 31° 37’ 21” East a distance of 60.00 feet; thence

 

2.                     South 11° 43’ 16” East a distance of 29.45 feet; thence

 

3.                     South 09° 53’ 00” East a distance of 83.96 feet; thence

 

4.                     North 70° 08’ 16” West a distance of 8.30 feet; thence

 

5.                     South 05° 02’ 30” East a distance of 112.92 feet; thence

 

6.                     South 03° 27’ 53” West a distance of 99.38 feet; thence

 

 

7.                     South 03° 34’ 40” West a distance of 99.62 feet; thence

 

8.                     South 08° 44’ 25” West a distance of 101.21 feet; thence

12.                     North 03° 43’ 30” East a distance of 259.83 feet; thence

 

13.                     North 06° 14’ 34” West a distance of 91.54 feet; thence

 

14.                     North 12° 05’ 01” West a distance of 33.07 feet; thence

 

15.                     North 11° 58’ 34” East a distance of 25.24 feet; thence

 

16.                     North 09° 52’ 32” West a distance of 46.89 feet; thence

 

17.                     North 44° 46’ 35” West a distance of 61.25 feet; thence

 

18.                     North 33° 03’ 01” East a distance of 23.42 feet to the place of beginning.

 

Containing 4,116 square feet or 0.094 acres of land, more or less,  

 

Being part of the land which by deed dated January 3, 1979 and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore City in Liber 3714 Folio 870 was conveyed by The Arundel Corporation to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.

 

Beginning for the second on the western right-of-way line of the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) at a point distant 69.63 feet from the beginning of the North 08°48’ 23” East 97.01 foot line of the MTA right-of-way as referenced on MTA drawing number RC-011-01 (Contract No. CL05), entitled “Right-of-Way Plan Sta. N/E 222+50 to Sta. N/E 238+00” and the point also being 38.59 feet left of MTA N/W baseline station 225+14.71 as referenced on MTA drawing number CG-047-02 (Contract No. CL05), entitled “Track Alignment Data”; running thence along the right-of-way the following two courses and distances, viz

 

1.                     South 08° 48’ 22” West a distance of 69.63 feet; thence

 

2.                     South 23° 09’ 36” West a distance of 83.29 feet to a point 15.97 feet from the beginning of the North 23° 09’ 35” East 99.26 foot line of the MTA right-of-way as referenced on MTA drawing number RC-011-01, thence leaving the right-of-way and running through the lands of The Mayor and City Council of Baltimore; thence

 

3.                     North 16° 37’ 39” East a distance of 151.73 feet to the place of beginning.

 

Containing 719 square feet or 0.017 acres of land, more or less,  

Being part of the land which by deed dated January 3, 1979 and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore City in Liber 3714 Folio 870 was conveyed by The Arundel Corporation to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.

 

Beginning for the third on the western right-of-way line of the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) at a point distant 126.92 feet from the beginning of the North 03°18’ 36” East 212.21 foot line of the MTA right-of-way as referenced on MTA drawing number RC-010-01 (Contract No. CL05), entitled “Right-of-Way Plan Sta. N/E 207+00 to Sta. N/E 222+50” and the point also being 30.45 feet left of MTA N/W baseline station 220+23.36 as referenced on MTA drawing number CG-047-02 (Contract No. CL05), entitled “Track Alignment Data”; thence leaving the MTA right-of-way and running through the lands of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore the following four courses and distances, viz

 

1.                     North 82° 07’ 02” West a distance of 15.08 feet; thence

 

2.                     North 10° 39’ 14” East a distance of 180.87 feet; thence

 

3.                     North 12° 28’ 09” East a distance of 101.63 feet; thence

 

4.                     North 18° 02’ 06” East a distance of 33.15 feet to a point on the western right-of-way line of the MTA, 15.18 feet from the end of the North 11° 15’ 57” East 103.16 foot line of the MTA right-of-way as referenced on MTA drawing number RC-010-01 and as also referenced on MTA drawing number RC-011-01 (Contract No. CL05), entitled “Right-of-Way Plan Sta. N/E 222+50 to Sta. N/E 238+00”, thence running along the MTA right-of-way as referenced on MTA drawing numbers RC-011-01 and RC-010-01 the following three courses and distances,

 

5.                     South 11° 15’ 57” West a distance of 87.98 feet; thence

 

6.                     South 11° 36’ 53” West a distance of 142.05 feet; thence

 

7.                     South 03° 18’ 35” West a distance of 85.29 feet to the place of beginning.

 

Containing 1,855 square feet or 0.043 acres of land, more or less,  

 

Being part of the land which by deed dated January 3, 1979 and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore City in Liber 3714 Folio 870 was conveyed by The Arundel Corporation to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.

 

Section 2.  And be it further ordained, That no easement shall pass under this Ordinance unless the easement has been approved by the City Solicitor.

 

Section 2.  And be it further ordained, That this Ordinance takes effect on the date it is enacted.
