SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

SUBTITLE 29. TRANSIT AND MARINE SERVICES ADVISORY BOARD

§ 29-1. BOARD ESTABLISHED.

THERE IS A TRANSIT AND MARINE SERVICES ADVISORY BOARD.

§ 29-2. MEMBERSHIP.

(A) IN GENERAL.

THE ADVISORY BOARD COMPRISES 9 MEMBERS.


(B) COMPOSITION.

(1) 1 MEMBER IS THE DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION OR THE DIRECTOR’S DESIGNEE.

(2) 5 MEMBERS MUST BE RESIDENTS OF A COUNCIL DISTRICT IN WHICH THE CITY’S TRANSIT AND MARINE SERVICES OPERATES SOME MODE OF TRANSPORTATION. OF THESE 5:

(I) 2 ARE APPOINTED BY THE MAYOR; AND

(II) 3 ARE APPOINTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL PRESIDENT.
