Title
American Education Week - November 13-19, 2005

FOR the purpose of promoting and supporting American Education Week, which will take place from November 13-19, 2005 which will focus on the theme "A Strong America Starts With Great Public Schools."
Body Recitals

American Education Week will be celebrated from November 13-19, 2005. The theme of this years program is "A Strong America Starts With Great Public Schools." This theme highlights the importance of bringing together teachers, school staff, parents, students, and communities in a unified effort to build great public schools. In addition, the theme reflects the National Education Association's vision of calling upon America to provide students with quality public schools so that they can grow, prosper, and achieve in the 21st century.

The week will include a nationwide kickoff event, a day for parents to join their children in school, a day to recognize secretaries, classroom aides, maintenance people, and others who provide invaluable services to school students, a day for community leaders to come and teach for a day, as well as a day to honor substitute teachers. This week will be dedicated to spotlighting all the people involved in and committed to making public schools great for every child, and individuals should be encouraged to participate in programs ...
