Brad Nornhold - Sam's Club Maryland Teacher of the Year
FOR the purpose of congratulating Brad Nornhold on being named Sam's Club Teacher of the Year in Maryland and commending him for bringing country-wide recognition of the teacher and student excellence that prevails at the KIPP Ujima Village Academy in Baltimore City.

On October 27, 2007, Sam's Club announced that Brad Nornhold, an 8th grade algebra teacher at KIPP Ujima Village Academy, was named Teacher of the Year in Maryland. Mr. Nornhold was honored at a special surprise ceremony at the school located at 4701 Greenspring Avenue, and in his honor the school received a $10,000 educational grant from the Wal-Mart Foundation.
In awarding the honor, the Timonium Sam's Club store manager stated that the Wal-Mart and Sam's Club 12th annual State Teacher of the Year program was created to recognize those teachers who go the extra mile for their students and instill a love of learning long after graduation and noted that Mr. Nornhold also had been honored as the local Teacher of the Year winner the previous May.
