SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That the Laws of Baltimore City read as follows:

SUBTITLE 17. RETALIATION FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING REPORTS

? 17-1. DEFINITIONS.

(A) IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE, THE FOLLOWING TERMS HAVE THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

(B) COVERED EMPLOYER.

?COVERED EMPLOYER? MEANS ANY PERSON THAT EMPLOYS 5 OR MORE FULLTIME?EQUIVALENT EMPLOYEES IN THE CITY OF BALTIMORE.


(C) HUMAN TRAFFICKING.

?HUMAN TRAFFICKING? MEANS:

(1) SEX TRAFFICKING IN WHICH A COMMERCIAL SEX ACT IS INDUCED BY FORCE, FRAUD, OR COERCION, OR IN WHICH THE PERSON INDUCED TO PERFORM SUCH ACT HAS NOT ATTAINED 18 YEARS OF AGE; OR
