FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to sell, at either public or private sale, all its interest in certain property known as 222 North Calverton Road (Block 2215, Lot 007) and no longer needed for public use; and providing for a special effective date.

SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE, That, in accordance with Article V, ? 5(b) of the City Charter, the City Comptroller may sell, at either public or private sale, all the interest of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore in the property known as 222 North Calverton Road (Block 2215, Lot 007), and more particularly described as follows:
The subject parcel (Block 2215, Lot 007) is an improved lot that is currently used as a recycling center. The site is located on the southwest side of North Calverton Road, south of West Franklin Street, in the ?Western? neighborhood of Baltimore City,
containing 40,598 square feet, more or less, this property being no longer needed for public use.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That no deed may pass under this Ordinance unless the deed has been approved by the City Solicitor.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance takes effect when it is enacted.
